We invite Tasha back again to Tengu but this time with Deetron for a collaborative, high energy B2B - techno blends and driving rhythmic styles with rising talent Meda-Ava on support. See you in the dance! Tasha first made her name as a DJ in the drum & bass community, with early support from DJ Flight on BBC 1Xtra. After DJ Storm made her resident at her Feline night, she became a firm part of the community. Since 2018, Tasha remains a member of the iconic stations core lineup to this day. Tasha’s DJing style matches the textured background of her influences and has developed into a master-flow of form - weaving tunes together seamlessly from her bass-informed home of the UK, alongside 4x4 techno forms, broken beat, or straight up D&B rollers. Pretty much one of the only DJ's who has built their career separately in both drum & bass and techno, she cannot be pigeonholed into genre conformities. Whether it's a peak time slot, a Jungle masterclass, or a mixed bag b2b - Tasha has all bases covered. With an accomplished and atmospheric hold on the dancefloor, her sound is wholly affecting and has taken her to some of the best festivals and clubs in key cities around the world from London to South America. Being involved with making and playing music for almost 30 years, Deetron stands as a pillar of consistency, creativity, and technical mastery. Renowned for his mind - boggling three - deck DJ - sets, signature remixes, and a richly diverse discography, he has built a career defined by quality, depth, and authenticity. Raised in Bern, Switzerland, young Deetron’s passion was rooted in hip - hop and turntablism, driven by a love for vinyl. He absorbed the traditions of DJing; those basic, yet crucially important elements: a broad yet accessible selection, true skills built up from hours and hours of practice and dedication. Today, Deetron is an icon for a new generation of DJ's and producers. His mixing ability is second to none with vinyl still an intrinsic part of his creative process, pledging wholehearted allegiance to his roots. As a producer, Deetron has established over the years exclusive collaborations with artists such as Jamie Lidell, Steve Spacek, and Peven Everett, and remains a highly sought after remixer. His productions came to the fore with his 2013 album ‘Music Over Matter’, a collection of dancefloor ready tracks featuring a wide array of vocalists and alliances from across the house and techno spectrum. One for the heads. See you in the dance!
