Sassafrass and Glamorama deliver a sonic pairing like no other with DJ Luv You & Jo Christy for Sassafrass' Melbourne debut show. Sassafrass arrives at Glamorama for a special collaboration, pushing progressive house and trance-tinged sounds. After making an impression at ADE in 2022, they’ve only continued to grow, with their parties earning the title of “one of the highlights at ADE.” This time, we get the pleasure of bringing the very first Australian show to Melbourne. Delivering the message and the sound are none other than DJ Luv You & Jo Christy. Firstly, introducing non-binary DJ and artist, DJ Luv You - blending influences of 90s dance through to house, rave and progressive, playfully creating dance floors that celebrate both music and inclusivity. Their vision is further reflected through their FLINTA* / queer parties, LUNA Blessings. Fresh off the back of a standout set at Sonder, we’re keen to hear what they’ve got in store for us. Joining DJ Luv You is Jo Christy - DJ, producer, live artist, and one-half of Work Wife. With a focus on taste and fun, Jo blends diverse genres to create an uplifting, dreamy experience for everyone in the room. She knows her way around the Glam dance floor; no doubt she’s here to bring it to life yet again with a special b2b. Inspired by the trans and queer community, both artists step into the booth to build a space for the people who connect, share, and find community through the club and beyond. Joining them on the night are Charles Eddy, xla who round out a night of vinyl only sounds in the Main Room. Hugo Brown and Lord Roberts keep the courtyard locked with a range of funk & sentimental house. A whole vibe. A full Sassafrass takeover. See you on the other side.
