One Day Poster Printing Workshop Wednesday 24th June 2026 10.30am - 4.00pm Standard Ticket - £120.00 Concession Ticket - £108.00 Discover the craft of traditional letterpress printing as you create your own poster using our historic presses and beautiful wood type. Choose any text you wish to print - it could be a quintessential quote, a punk poem or a lively lyric (though we recommend your creative inspirations to be no more than 12 words). Our knowledgeable tutors will take you through the process. You’ll learn how to hand‑set type, space and lock up your composition, and ink and pull the press. The tutors will work with you to tailor the course to your abilities and interests. With small class sizes, there’s plenty of opportunity for one‑to‑one support, allowing the session to be tailored to your interests and experience level. Your workshop includes a full induction, health and safety guidance, an introduction to the presses, and all materials (including aprons). Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting inky. Your prints will need time to dry and cannot be taken home on the day. You’re welcome to return to collect them, or we can post them to you for an additional £10. This fee can be paid when booking or at reception on the day. Accessibility Due to the constraints of our Grade II listed building, the workshop is currently only accessible via 14 steps from our 14 Bride Lane entrance.
