***Abbie McCarthy's Good Karma Club Presents: Supermodel, Saint Clair, Aifric*** ***Abbie McCarthy is an award-winning broadcaster who has championed artists on the live scene for the last decade. This club night has provided early shows for so many brilliant artists over the years, including the likes of Sam Fender, Olivia Dean & many more.*** **Saint Clair** London’s newest alternative outfit, Saint Clair - a four-piece blurring the lines between shoegaze and alt-rock. Written for the stage, each song is made to captivate audiences. Moody guitars, introspective lyrics, and a no-frills approach define a band unafraid to leave it all on stage. **Aifric** Aifric is a singer and songwriter from Galway whose music feels driven by something elemental – a kind of creative and emotional exorcism she describes as “holding a ball of fire that wants to be thrown somewhere.” Raised in the rugged west of Ireland, immersed in the Irish language and a strong storytelling tradition, Aifric’s musical instincts took shape early. She began singing at an Irish-speaking convent school in Dingle, and later lived between a caravan on a dairy farm, a narrowboat in London, and an old grain mill in East Galway. It was at the mill, that writing became the way she steadied herself. Songwriting that explored the complexities and richness of ordinary life, the beauty and brutality of landscape, the shifting identities of girlhood and adulthood, and a quiet resistance to the noise of modern culture.
