PUNCHBAG is bringing live music back to the university scene. Featuring a lineup of emerging bands, the UK & Ireland tour is set to bring back loud, raw, and unforgettable performances to student nights out. It’s not just a gig - it’s a movement to reconnect students with live music, community, and chaos of band culture. VILLANELLE Emerging from London’s underground, VILLANELLE have quickly built a name beyond word-of-mouth buzz. In months, they’ve gone from sweaty pub gigs to arena crowds as the opening act of Liam Gallagher’s Definitely Maybe: 30 Years Tour. Formed in 2024, the band, Gene (vocals/guitar), Ben Taylor (guitar) and Jack Schiavo (bass) have shared stages with Seb Lowe, Overpass, and Pastel. Having sold-out pre-sale for their upcoming December Tour Magical Mallard Migration, the band are taking to the university scene to shake up student nightlife and bring back rock and roll. Die Twice Die Twice are redefining band culture for a new generation disillusioned with the modern landscape of social media soundtracks and lack of shared experiences. Band members Olly Bayton, Billy Twamley, Finn ‘Blue’ Lloyd and Jake ‘Fig’ Coles are using their raw and romantic absurdity to lead the charge of a new wave of UK Rock and Roll. Combining the edge of The Doors and The Clash with the emotional resonance of Erykah Badu and Jeff Buckley, their bold use of genre bending riffs, driving rhythm section and gut wrenchingly honest lyricism begs you to lean in and feel. Their acerbic wit, cheeky charm and authenticity speak to the core sensibilities of the human experience. From danger and pain to love and identity, Die Twice refuse to conform to expectations as frivolous as genre and social norms. Coupled with their creative integrity and raw talent, Die Twice are an experience: bold, authentic, and unforgettable. In two words? Beautiful Chaos. Remember the time where you were sprawled on the couch, the flicker of MTV lighting up the room? The haunting beauty of The Smashing Pumpkins’ Adore is playing in the background followed by PJ Harvey’s Is This Desire? with its raw, unfiltered energy. Grunge is evolving and alternative rock is becoming more experimental, more introspective, yet still deeply intense. The 90’s may have come to an end but the spirit is still burning in 2025. A new quartet from Brighton emerges, a band forged from the melancholy, chaos and bold creativity of that era. 30 years later, that fearless, raw sound, is back redefined and revived through CARNE.
