At Morocco Bound Bookshop, join a welcoming community of local new parents and parents-to-be through a thoughtfully curated series of antenatal and postnatal sessions. Together, we will explore all things pregnancy, birth and the early postpartum period - from birth physiology and the phases of labour, to feeding, recovery, newborn care and navigating the fourth trimester. Each gathering is designed to offer practical guidance, honest conversation, and an opportunity to build both confidence and connection alongside other families in a similar season of life. Our first session will serve as a gentle introduction and welcome, including a brief discussion on birth physiology. From there, each week will guide you through a different stage of pregnancy and postpartum, while always leaving room for the unanswered, unexpected or random questions that naturally arise along the way. Whether you are preparing to welcome your baby or finding your feet in those early weeks, these gatherings are here to nurture, inform and remind you that this journey was never meant to be a solo one. Evanjelene is an experienced maternity nurse and doula who is passionate for supporting and upholding women during this period of transition. Evanjelene offers a space for women and families to feel heard and valued, as well as a place to be prepared and gently guided for their journey to come. Her work centres around emotional wellbeing, informed support, and community.
