**Join us for a showcase and networking mixer hosted by CUEW in partnership with Northern Music Export Office, Generator, PRS Foundation, EMEE, Enki Music and Sasakawa Foundation. We welcome a visiting Japanese delegation to London ahead of The Great Escape, celebrating growing collaboration between UK and Japanese artists, industry and music scenes.** This project marks the first-ever international showcase by CUEW Showcase & Conference, the organisers of the Tokyo-based festival in Shibuya. It serves as a debut overseas initiative dedicated to introducing Japanese artists to the UK music scene. Over the past year, the Northern Music Export Office led by Generator in partnership with PRS Foundation has developed an exchange programme with Japan - connecting artists, building relationships and opening new international opportunities. This visit marks the first UK trip for the Japanese delegation, following a stop in Newcastle before arriving in London. The evening offers a snapshot of this collaboration so far, featuring live performances from artists involved in the exchange alongside insights from CUEW on the importance of international export and the opportunities within the Japanese market.
