We’re inviting you to an evening in support of our short film Disco Fanny. Disco Fanny is a dark comedy that follows a young woman during her first smear test, where her inner experience erupts into a surreal monster rampaging through a GP practice - visible only to her. As she battles it, the appointment fractures into memories of puberty and sexual shame, exploring the often unspoken realities of medical and menstrual humiliation. It’s strange, funny, vulnerable, and a deeply personal project to us, with some fantastic female filmmakers behind the project! We’re gearing up to shoot this September and have already raised most of our budget through private investors - but we need help to get across the finish line. That’s where you come in! Join us for a one-of-a-kind fundraiser at the Vagina Museum from 6:30–10:00pm. Your ticket is a donation directly supporting the film. There will be music, a bar, some exciting speakers, performance art and more! It’s going to be a super fun and meaningful night - and we’d love to have you there. Come celebrate, support indie film, and help bring Disco Fanny to life.
