Fanchon returns to The Victoria to celebrate the release of their EP ‘heaven, unfamiliar’ alongside Mishikui (emo-hardcore), Prodigal (nu-metal) and Carne (alt-grunge). Live performances of course, but also limited edition merch available and secrets to reveal. FANCHON Post-grunge dreamcore band based in London. Poetry based lyrics and ‘power in softness’ vocals over heavy energy instrumentals. One part French, four parts English. MISHIKUI London based post-hardcore/emo band blending shoegaze textures with emotionally charged, “emo-grunge” intensity. PRODIGAL Prodigal are a powerful nu-metal four piece from the south-west of the UK. Taking inspiration from the gazey 90’s and nu early 00’s, they fuse ethereal textures with raw emotional grit. Hard and soft, heavy and light, beautifully ugly. CARNE Hailing from Brighton, CARNE is a quartet built on the tension of things left unsaid. This is music written in the back of a notebook and performed with the lights off. Taking the DNA of 90s alternative and grunge and redefining it into something more visceral and raw, CARNE curates chaos moving fluidly from intimate, diary-entry whispers to a wall of unapologetic noise.
