6TH MAY: east london creatives, this one’s for you. my friends and i are taking over @breadandbutterlounge in shoreditch EVERY wednesday…and the next one’s on may 6th (today!) here’s what you can expect 👇 🥂ground floor: you’ll play an ice breaker game (and get a free drink for it), make new friends, and enjoy a dj set 🎷first floor: you’ll find @mamakyssoulfood’s delicious caribbean food here… plus this is where the live music from our super talented artists happens 🎨 attic: live painting, board games, and a new surprise each week (ranging from poetry workshops to new music listening sessions… this week, we’ve got tarot card readings!) + ALL the floors have djs who spin tunes all night 🕺 oh, and we lock phones away on entry. no social media notifications, just being present, having genuine conversations, and actually enjoying the night. if you’re nervous about coming alone (don’t worry, a lot of people do), we’ll add you to a whatsapp group beforehand so you already feel part of i
