Two local heavyweights take on Wigwam Basement on June 6th. Jon Hussey A pioneer of the Irish Techno scene, with a DJ career spanning over three decades. Since launching his journey at Dublin's iconic Planet Dub events in '94, he has held residencies across Ireland and played in global techno hubs including Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Bratislava, and New York. On the production front, Jon remains a highly sought-after artist, releasing music on prominent labels like Earwiggle, RLSD, and Komisch, alongside his recent remix on Dublin-based label SCART. Snakebite_616 Rooted in the spirit of 90s techno and shaped by an endless pursuit for overlooked cuts and forward-thinking sounds, Nathan’s sets explore the outer edges of the genre through a ravers perspective. Exploring deep hypnotic soundscapes as well as raw jacking grooves, his approach avoids short-lived trends in favour of timeless, instinctive and atmospheric storytelling. As a producer, also under the alias Snakebite_616, he has released a range of vinyl and digital EPs on labels including Ogma, Vision Collector, Syncopated, Diffuse Reality, Concepto Hypnotico, and Delinquent Delivery, receiving support from artists across the global techno scene.
