Last call for jazz down the dog before we swap sax for sunburns. HipJoint Jazz is back next Wednesday 29th April, and yes we got their season finale before GTA VI, so no pressure… just the small matter of goin’ out with a baaaang. They’ve locked in Sula Trio, and yeah… these lot are the real deal. Proper slick, proper soulful, the kind of band that makes you forget you’re in a pub and not some fancy Soho joint. Been tearing through the London jazz scene, Ronnie Scott’s on the cards, and now landing in our basement for one last slap of the bass before summer nicks them off us.
