*Short Waves Presents:* **\-Las Dianas:** Since their debut in 2020, Las Dianas have transformed spontaneity into a precision weapon, refining a blend of acidic pop and radiant punk that serves as a vehicle for a feminist, bold, and necessary discourse in an industry that remains unequal. Their first LP, Lo que te pide el cuerpo (Casa Maracas, 2021), revealed an unheard-of maturity for their youth, daring to cover artists such as Los Planetas, Julieta Venegas, Nacho Cano, and to collaborate with Instituto Mexicano del Sonido. Their second LP, Ya decidiré mañana (Casa Maracas, 2024), consolidates their identity in the face of expectations of success. Singles such as “Síndrome del impostor,” “Putivuelta,” and “Me jode” have shown a band capable of transforming vulnerability into confidence and anxiety into electric energy. Produced by Carlos Díaz, the album brings together nine songs in which they grow both melodically and harmonically, with memorable choruses and a clear-sighted spirit. Wise young women, Las Dianas are today, both in the recording studio and on stage, a confident, precise group, rich in nuance and in constant reinvention: the band you want to listen to. Today and always. **\-Mannequin Flowers** Mannequin Flowers are a London-based dream pop, shoegaze and post-punk band, drawing on 90s shoegaze and 70s post-punk influences. Their 2024 singles Heartbeat and Drunken Carousel gained coverage from Earmilk and The Big Takeover, with airplay on Amazing Radio, followed by 2025 releases Validation and Six Words, which leaned further into darker post-punk textures. Their sound moves between melodic haze and underlying tension, with lyrics focused on anxiety, identity, love and social pressure **\-Hiding**
