For over 15 years, Mànran has been at the heart of the Scottish traditional music scene, earning a reputation as one of the genre’s most exciting and influential bands. Renowned for their bold fusion of traditional and contemporary sounds, the seven-piece effortlessly blend English and Gaelic songs with driving, intricate instrumentals. Their signature mix of bagpipes, fiddle, accordion, whistle, and flute - layered with guitars, drums, and bass - creates a dynamic, uplifting sound that is both deeply rooted in tradition and refreshingly modern. Their music has taken them to stages in more than 30 countries, building a loyal international following and a reputation for electrifying live performances. Their most recent album 'To the Wind' was released in August 2025, which received airplay on BBC Radio 2 and has been nominated for Album of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards.
