A night of shoegaze-adjacent ethereal sounds, celebrating the release of Menaura's new single Deep Web with a premiere screening of their first music video. With special guests: Milkstone. Menaura is a shoegaze/art rock group united in London to create an intense and beautiful escape for the listener since 2020. With reverberated soundscapes, soaring melodies and math rock influences, Menaura's songs speak of the constant search for the meaning in life and meandering the labirynths of modern misinformation. Milkstone is a new project by American composer, Cosette Gobat, with songs on the themes of decolonisation, community, and ancient, somatic practices. With transcendental guitar noises and expansive, powerful vocals, Milkstone blends genres of shoegaze, psychedelia, and neo-classical. Recently releasing their debut single, ‘All Alone Again’ on bandcamp, the band is currently located in London recording their upcoming EP.
