Private Regcords presents a guitar-centred night of hope, pain and all things inbetween. Prepared to be full of feeling. Normal Village: Leeds-staple math rock quartet, oozing chaos yet moments of bliss. The groups debut ep , ‘Pile On’ was released last autumn, boasting heartbreaking lyrics paired with clunky, technical chops. Normal Village push & pull you any way they please, and you’ll like it. Clive: Half Leeds/Half Manchester, Clive combine emo, math rock and post-punk. The group have been ping-ponging across England, recently paying the windmill their first visit. Noisy, slightly abrasive, emotional. Topsoil: The illusive Topsoil, lap-steel and all will be opening up the evening. In the landscape of post-punk shouty man, topsoil are a breath of fresh air. 3-way harmonies to nourish the soul and increase hope for ones life, all heightened by the guaranteed sweat of the rat and pigeon. FFO: Pinegrove
