**Dope Purple (TWN):** Dope Purple are a psychedelic/noise rock band formed in Taipei in 2016, who channel influences from hard rock, noise & psychedelia with a particular emphasis on sounds from the Japanese underground, into a cosmic guitar explosion. Dope Purple champion Taiwan's psych rock culture & hosts the Taipei Psychedelic Rock Music Festival, inviting musicians like Makoto Kawabata (Acid Mother Temple) & Taigen Kawabe (Bo Ningen). Dope Purple has also been actively touring worldwide to critical acclaim. Known for his deeply psychedelic synth epics, he has released 3 albums on the Weird Beard label - Psyberspace, Psyborg & Astral Pastoral.
