Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Pedro Mizutani first found his audience by sharing videos on TikTok, quickly building a devoted following and catching the attention of indie label Nice Guys Records. Drawing from the legacy of bossa nova pioneers such as João Gilberto, Nara Leão, Baden Powell, and João Donato, Pedro combines those timeless influences with his own lived experience to narrate the beauty and complexity of growing up in Rio. We're proudly bringing the young singer-songwriter to London for an intimate live performance at The Jago.
