Join us next Thursday for our Reflections and Writing Event running from 7pm to 9:30pm! Reflections and Writing is a collaborative project and digital publication dedicated to highlighting the African and Caribbean experience at Oxford through essays, poetry and art. The theme for this year’s implication is ‘In Our Mother’s Garden’, based on the collection of essays by Alice Walker. Here, we will explore the nuances of generational appreciation, tension and differences within the diaspora. Whether you’re a poet, musician, lyricist or just someone with big emotions, R&W provides a space for you to express your art!
