This Friday, 2/6 at 1pm, weβre broadcasting audio documentation of Ben Shirkenβs Cache Machine. Cache Machine was a recent multimedia installation by New York-based collective 29 Speedway and founder Ben Shirken. The project was mounted in Brooklyn-based gallery KAJE from January 10-25, taking shape as a sound installation and experiential interface for investigating the onslaught of transient digital material amassing in contemporary life. Shirken and technical director Johan Michalove chat collaboration, the acceleration of industrial intelligence, and share some sound clippings. Moderated by Rhizome community designer Bri Griffin.
