We're delighted to announce our inaugural Women in Fashion panel with DH-PR's Daisy Hoppen and British Vogue's Julia Hobbs. Daisy is a female Founder and Director of her eponymous agency DH-PR. Daisy learnt her trade at the established fashion PR agencies, Purple and Karla Otto before making her own stamp with DH-PR in 2013. The agency has since expanded, yet maintains a tightly-curated client roster. Representing brands such as Simone Rocha, Ganni, Stone Island, Tecla, Belmond and Dover Street Market London and Paris, to name just a few. Daisy's way of business places centrality on a personal relationship with her clientele, thus allowing for her taste and creative flair to be reflected in the people she works with. Julia Hobbs is British Vogue’s Senior Contributing Fashion Features Editor. Julia studied Law — and after a stint at the European Union Delegation to the United Nations and editorial internships at the Financial Times, she joined British Vogue as the magazine’s Fashion Coordinator. Her career spans years of digital transformation at the title as well as the dawn of AI. As Vogue’s European Fashion Features Director, she championed first-person storytelling. Today, her role encompasses presenting and writing across a range of topics that intersect with fashion. She is also an industry expert on BBC woman's hour and BBC News. The conversation will shine a spotlight on their respective journey's, career highlights and aim to interrogate the sexism in the industry and encourage discourse surrounding what needs to be done to ensure gender parity in fashion.
