Follow-on tickets automatically go on sale when another ticket type sells out. For example, you might create "Early Bird" tickets at a lower price, with "General Admission" set as a follow-on — once Early Bird sells out, General Admission becomes available automatically.
Note: follow-on tickets cannot have manual sale dates, since their availability is determined by the linked ticket type.
